What there is to see in every country, who says they are licensed to take you there, and the direct number to check that with the authority who issued the licence. Kenya’s regulator asks travellers to make four separate checks across four systems. Ghana’s register of licensed businesses is an empty page. This is an attempt to make that smaller.

What “checked” means here. An operator marked Licence checked is one where somebody rang the authority that issues the licence, confirmed the number, and wrote the date down. Everything else is the operator’s own claim, shown as a claim. We would rather list four we have checked than four hundred we have not.
